I am an economist with research interests in Household Finance, Real Estate, Mortgage Finance, Labor Economics and Industrial Organization.
My work experiences include working as a Principal Economist at the Federal Reserve Board for eight years, and as an Assistant Professor of Finance at the NYU Stern School of Business for five years.
At the Federal Reserve Board, I conducted policy work on topics of residential and commercial real estate including forecasting prices, quantifying financial conditions and systemic risk from real estate, and analyzing mortgage and securitization markets (MBS, CMBS, CRT, REITs etc.). In my research and policy work, I have also worked in consumer protection and affordability issues in mortgages/housing.
At NYU Stern, I taught courses on capital markets in real estate.
